HORROR: Homeless Man With Countless Arrests Charged for Attempting to Kill Pregnant Woman with a Knife in Charlotte, NC (VIDEO)

A homeless man in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a long criminal history, has been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and assault on a pregnant woman after attacking a pregnant woman and a man with a knife. 

The suspect, Paul Abdul Hicks, 31, attempted to kill a 26-year-old pregnant woman and a 34-year-old man outside of a restaurant in Charlotte, according to WBTV.

WBTV highlights Hicks’ long criminal history for various crimes, including robbery, fleeing and eluding arrest, assault, and drug trafficking.

CBS 17 reports that Hicks has at least 12 prior arrests, according to Mecklenburg County jail records.

According to a bond sheet, Hicks was labeled “a danger to the community.” It further notes that he has a “criminal history that includes violent offenses.”

Per police, Hicks used the knife, as well as his hands, feet, and teeth during the attack.

The real question is, why was this violent lowlife thug released back into the community so many times?

This comes amid public outrage over liberal policies like cashless bail that allow violent repeat offenders to roam the streets and commit heinous crimes.

Most notably, also in Charlotte, North Carolina, 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr. murdered 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska last year after stabbing her multiple times in the East/West Boulevard light rail station. The lunatic had a long criminal rap sheet, with arrests dating back to 2007.

In another incident earlier this year, Marvina Marie Hardy, a woman with an extensive criminal record, also stabbed a pregnant woman outside of a grocery store– in Charlotte, North Carolina, of all places.
