A criminal illegal alien from Russia fatally struck a truck driver while he was watching YouTube on his iPad.
According to the DHS, Georgii Gabiev illegally entered the US from Russia in 2022 on Joe Biden’s open border invitation.
Gabiev was reportedly learning English by watching YouTube on his iPad when he blew through a stop sigh and slammed into a truck driver in Chippewa County, Minnesota, in 2024.
The victim, Tim Tarnowski, died from the impact.
Federal law enforcement officers finally arrested Gabiev last week.
The New York Post reported:
ICE has arrested an illegal immigrant who caused a fatal crash in Minnesota in 2024 when he blew through a stop sign while watching a YouTube video on his iPad about learning English.
Georgii Gabiev, a criminal illegal migrant from Russia who entered the US in 2022 and was released by the Biden administration, killed truck driver Tim Tarnowski on March 5, 2024, on a rural road in Chippewa County.
He pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular manslaughter but served just 120 days in jail. He told law enforcement that at the time of the crash, he “was listening to a program” on an iPad that was “teaching him how to speak English,” the Star Tribune reported.
ICE law enforcement officers arrested Gabiev in Brooklyn on June 9, and will keep him in custody pending his removal from the US.
The Department of Homeland Security slammed the Biden Regime for allow tens of millions of illegals to flood over the US border.
“If it weren’t for the Biden Administration’s open border policies, this tragedy would NEVER had happened. Our prayers are with Tim’s wife, Tammy, and the entire Tarnowski family,” the DHS said in a statement.
